We’ve enjoyed the bluest of blue sky weekends!
It really does feel as if Spring is in the air.
We’ve been outdoors for most of the weekend and loved every minute of it. These are some images from our weekend.
And these …
.. are my new purchases. A love-at-first-sight basket to take me through Spring and Summertime, and my new boots. I love these boots! My very first pair of Dr Martens … and they are the most comfy footwear ever :-)
Pop back later in the week for another sewing tutorial, and I’ll also be starting a series of photographic posts to take us all the way through the month of March. Fun times ahead!
Happy days to you :-)

There has definitely been a touch of spring about this weekend. Gorgeous photos.
Love your new boots, a stunning colour and my oh my I adore the bag too.

Hi Lisa!
Thank you for this – I can see you would have fallen for the basket too – that makes me happy :-)
WOW! I love the colour of the boots and the bag.

Hi Julie
Thank you for your boot / bag appreciation :-)
Fabulous snowdrop picture. Either a great camera or great photographer. Probably both.
A woman like me. I adore teal boots and have often been tempted to buy a new pair each winter. Bought the same basket weeks ago. Each time I’m at a vintage fair people ask if it’s 1950′s.
Enjoy your week.

Hi Lisa
Oh! I’m so excited to hear you have the same basket – funny! But just goes to show we share the same taste :-)
Thank you for your lovely words about the photo!
Oh!Oh! I love those boots! I have serious Boot Envy!
Your photos are beautiful too, and show the “best of British” countryside.
Thank you Dormouse!

those boots are calling to me… can you email me more about them – cost and where from etc :-) Loved the photos… I think it is time for me to update my header to Spring (or am I calling for a downpour and frost by doing that?!) Love Helen x
