Meet Slow Sally.
She cooked for us, for the first time yesterday … it was divinely delicious. Today she’s been employed again, this time to cook a Moroccan style stew to be served with couscous. Mmmmmm …
Meanwhile, I get freedom from the kitchen in the last hour before tea-time. And that is a great blessing when there are little people feeling tired and needy in the late afternoon.

Now that does look yummy! Your last post was fab, thank you for sharing.
Have a lovely weekend X
Hello there Lou
Thank you for this :-)
Wishing you a happy weekend too !
… well that got my mouth watering.. Ken wishes ME to know more(!) can you tell me make etc? Thanks, love Helen (alias Miss Microwave) xx
Hello dear!
I’ll send you some details – K clearly is hoping for great things ! xx
As veggies I’d always thought slow cookers were for meat eating people. I like the sound of something else cooking our food while I do more fun stuff. I might have a look into this slow cooker malarkey as we cook tons of bucket food anyway (you know tip it in one pot).

Yes, I was the same. I always thought slow cooking was about meat and not much else.
But there’s oodles of great veggie recipes on the internet for using slow cookers!
